- The camellia is dedicated to Prince Pietro Troubetzkoy, who arrived in Italy in the mid-1800s. The prince gave himself with great care in search of a "pleasant" place, where he could build a villa, until he chose a large land near Ghiffa (VB), on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Once the house was built, he created a garden, for the realization of which, for years, he procured, without regard to expense, the rarest, most
