A place for everyone
The Castle and Miradolo Park are safely accessible for everyone.
Thanks to the advice of professionals and some associations, such as APRI ONLUS – The Pro Retinopathic and Visually Impaired Association, seasonal itineraries and audio narratives have been created to allow access to different places and the involvement of visitors with disabilities.
A great deal of attention is also paid to families and children, through dedicated projects and tools.
Deaf
Deaf people can use special maps complete with a QR code.
Visually impaired
Information in braille accompanies the visually impaired around the Park in a specifically descriptive way when necessary.
For people with motor difficulties
All internal and external routes are suitable for visitors with motor disabilities.
Multilingual
Both written and audio support are available in Italian and English for tours.
Cultural passport
Before they turn one, children and their parents (or other carers) have free access to accredited museums which are part of the Born with Culture group.
A nursing area is available which is equipped with baby changing facilities.
Car Park
A large private car park which is situated adjacent to the structure is available free of charge for all visitors.
People with motor difficulties and their carers can drive to the ticket office by car and request a wheelchair to move around the property.
An elevator allows access to the exhibition halls on the first floor.
4-legged friends
Animals are allowed in the park, the Cafeteria and our bookshop.
It is not possible to take animals into the historic rooms in the Castle, when exhibitions are taking place.
