The castle’s park features precious collections of camellias and hydrangeas.
The century-old specimens of Camellia japonica were introduced by the Countess Sofia Cacherano di Bricherasio, the last heir of the noble family that lived in the castle for centuries. The camellias are one of the most distinguishing features of the park, which led us to expand the historical camellia grove with the introduction of young plants and rare varieties, as part of a major project in 2019 to repopulate the historical gardens and protect their biodiversity.
The park also features a great variety of hydrangeas spread throughout the various areas of the gardens, which continue to thrive after more than one hundred years.
