Welcome
To achieve this, on the second floor of the Castle there are offices and workshops where the employees and the Cosso Foundation collaborators work on bringing this project to life. These are individuals who dedicate their expertise, time, and energy to promoting the beauty and care for the community, recognizing these values as vital for building a renewed sense of belonging and civic awareness.
I am Paola Eynard, Vice President and Director of the Cosso Foundation. Since 2007, I have been taking care of this residence and its park, and over the years, step by step, I have worked to rediscover its lost identity. Through observation, listening, and care, this abandoned, damaged place has been brought back to life, enriching the days of all those who visit us.
Every place has a story to tell; every historic garden has a genius loci, a spirit of the place that lingers through time. We hope that this journey together will help every visitor to look at the nature of every garden, every forest, or public park with a sense of wonder, the same feeling I had when this place, which existed before us and will remain after us, met me.
Throughout the tour, the main points of interest are clearly marked. These include the large trees, shrubs, and panoramic views. By typing the numbers into the audioguide or scanning the QR codes, you can listen to the corresponding content.
A few small recommendations before you begin your visit, take the time to listen, see, perceive, and read, using all your senses, among the leaves and hidden corners, and discover how much of yourselves is reflected in this park. In doing so, it will therefore be easy to enjoy your visit while respecting your surroundings. Do not pick plants or flowers, do not drop litter and do not disturb a time and place that belongs to all of us.
